The power system computer simulation laboratory (eACCESS-CSL)
Supported by the Erasmus+ Programmed of the European Union: Capacity Building within the Field of Higher Education eACCESS Project number: 610041-EPP-1-2019-1-PL-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP
(EU-Asia Collaboration for accessible Education in Smart Power Systems)
Purpose
Located at ATM. The laboratory will offer the possibility to study steady and transient states in the grid including load flow calculation, short circuit calculations in multi-voltage level, meshed power grids, it will support optimisation of power grid operation and planning. It will be based on two or three different, cloud-based tools with the remote access. In this way it will provide an opportunity to other partner universities to use these tools at their teaching and research activities. Profession software packages will be also used in the research activities (student final projects) and in the collaboration with the local power companies to run grid development scenarios and support integration of distributed generation.
