The international webinar has been organized by BINUS University, Jakarta, Indonesia on 12-14 April 2021. This is recurrent event with participation of invited speakers from the international academic community, industry, and business. This year the Webinar was focused on three important areas: Social, Economy and Ecology.

Participants of this event include BINUS students, as well as student of other Indonesian Universities. Every webinar session is completed with a moderated Question and Answer, providing students a possibility to directly engage with the presenters, and participate in on-line discussion.

The event gives Indonesian students a unique opportunity to learn about latest trends and developments concerning the most burning problems of the modern society, world economy. As the part of the program, the webinar “Green Transition of the Power Sector” on Ecology and Sustainable Development was delivered by Dr Tomasz Siewierski, Phd, EEng, from Lodz University of Technology, Poland. Dr Siewierski is the coordinator of the International Erasmus+ Project eACCESS fostering partnership with Indonesian Universities. The webinar dealt with the environmental impact of the current fossil fuel-based power industry and presented pathways to more sustainable, clean, safe, stabile, and affordable energy production. The presentation addressed both technical and economic aspects of the transition towards renewable based power sector.
